Exhibition Kyiv Ya Gallery Art Center

Ya Gallery Art Center continues presenting bright artistic personalities from Dnipropetrovsk to capital's audience. After Oleksandr Korol's Bird's Milk, Ya Gallery opens a personal exhibition of Kateryna and Valeriy Kuznietsov that have already entered Ukrainian art scene in Ya Gallery's contemporary art project Neofolk at GOGOLFEST 2012.

We are inviting you to the opening of the project that will take place in Ya Gallery Art Center in Kyiv, at 49B Khoryva Str., on November 28th, from 19:00 to 21.30.

“We cannot stop to play, Master Bod. For soon enough, tomorrow night comes. And how often can a man say that?"

“Every night," said Bod. “Tomorrow night always comes."

(Neil Gaiman, “The Graveyard Book")

“I'll Finish Painting Tomorrow" is a state of incompleteness, youthfulness and carelessness.

The state of today: when this “is being done", but there is no desire “to do" it.

But “tomorrow" will come – regardless of our wishes.

And if today something could be changed, tomorrow it can't be...

“Tomorrow" comes with something new, unclear, unknown... and yesterday already left.

...And can you really expect that you will be given a “tomorrow" every day!

We are creators of the today's “today" and future's “tomorrow".

There is nothing new about these words. And everything seems clear. But no matter how much we talk, something remains unsaid. But we don't want completeness...

“Well, what if there is no tomorrow? There wasn't one today."

(From the film “Groundhog Day", USA, 1993)

We would like to show several situations in the project.

It is the birth of new multi-cellular organisms that move and absorb.

It is the remainder of today – evening, then night and dreams... – and what it could be like tomorrow. Given what was done today.

So... “I'll finish painting tomorrow"!
