This series of works is dedicated to the veterans of the Great Patriotic War.

First shots were made in May 2002. I haven't missed any Victory Days. But celebrations ended and veterans were left alone with their problems and their Victory – until the next holiday. And every year, on May 9, less and less of them came. At this moment you remember that you can't even give your photographs to the participants in the previous parade...

Then I continued to make portraits in interiors not to depend on the date of the anniversary. Being in their homes, unfortunately, you see that having survived then, they still continue to survive now...
