I consider Tatlin the only creative force, capable of pushing art beyond the trenches of old position lines. What is his strength? It is his power, absolutely pure and organic. He is a master head to toes.

Art is usually divided into various genres, such as painting, graphics, object. But each of these genres gravitates to the others, creating tandems or temporary alliances.

...Looking at a pile of old stretchers, lying around in my studio without business, I saw a pure form, declaring a new approach to painting: painting without canvas - that's where pure art is!

It reminded me of Tatlin's way of thinking. If only I could build something with these stretchers to dedicate to him! And sure to paint them with enamel, like fences in the street. Black wooden planks are compiled into projection of "resistance-interaction". This is a reminder-association with Tatlin's structures, erected in a modern space.

Color black is emptiness. Yellow is life-affirming content.

Drawing attention to the "background" of the artwork - the stretcher - we turn to ourselves. What are we like on the inside? Perhaps, it is us that were painted and hammered together in groups?

Or perhaps, painting doesn't really need the classic approach anymore - canvas and oil?
