Mykola Senkovsky. Carpathians Postcards 1925-1932
The book became one of the first steps towards researching and popularizing the creative works of Mykola Senkovsky, an understudied Ukrainian photographer of early XX century. His photos circulated around Europe as postcards and created the visual image of Hutsulshchyna for the broad audience. Summarizing the available material is an attempt to understand the nature of our assumptions about the Carpathians of the first half of the XX century.
